Armstrong Creek Update 2/7/18

Post by CHOPPER 3 »

SS2 was groomed yesterday afternoon and into this morning . SS2 is rated in very good condition . The NST 1 is rated in very good condition after some hefty blade work with the Sno-Cat . Something to remember , now that we are well into the season , riders need to be aware of what we call the "knife edge " of the trail . This is where the machine grooming stops and the ditch or powder starts . Think of it like a drop off , we've been seeing a lot of riders riding along this edge which normally ends in being pulled off the trail and either stuck or with a helmet full of brush . Some icy corners still persist , and the logging area from Nelligan Pond toward Newald is highly active . FYI : keep in mind you are not alone out there . A strong Wolf presence has moved into the area West of Armstrong all the way to CJ's . Loose dogs may bite ...
