Laona/Crandon grooming report
On 1/5, the NST2 and SS4 were groomed with the early snowfall. The far west end of SS4 still has logging operations being done and the trail is plowed to their entry. The swamp is improving with the snowfall as well as the rocky area east of HWY 8. The remaining areas of SS4 are very good. On 1/6, the NST2 was again groomed as well as SS5 and SS3 to the swamp. All of these trails are very good. SS5 north of HWY 8, logging continues to occur along Spring Pond Rd. Be careful going through these areas as logging trucks load and logs are off loaded from the woods. The road has some ice and snow pack for travel. Scott
